About The Position

This role is for a Full-Stack QA Engineer who will own and continuously improve product quality by testing new features, identifying defects, creating automated tests, recommending process and product improvements, and developing strong feature and product knowledge. The specific objectives for the first 12 months include developing strong product and feature knowledge to independently test assigned product areas, delivering reliable, consistent, and clearly documented testing outcomes, taking end-to-end ownership of quality across assigned product areas throughout the development and release lifecycle, and supporting and expanding automated test coverage across agreed product areas. Key activities involve performing thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing, reviewing requirements and acceptance criteria, documenting defects clearly, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, investigating failed automated tests, building product and technical knowledge, asking timely questions, collaborating with developers, product managers, and the QA Lead, participating in release validation, using approved AI tools to improve productivity, and demonstrating active engagement and ownership of product quality.

Requirements

Practical experience in web application testing.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between different tasks.
Experience developing and maintaining automated tests.
Ability to use approved AI tools effectively to improve testing quality and productivity.
Experience developing and maintaining automated tests (E2E: TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright; API integration testing: Python).

Responsibilities

Perform thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing of assigned features and product areas.
Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks, gaps, and unclear behavior.
Document defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for assigned product features and regression scenarios.
Investigate failed or unstable automated tests and improve test-suite reliability.
Continuously build product and technical knowledge by reviewing relevant documentation and project updates.
Ask timely and relevant questions to clarify requirements, risks, and expected product behavior.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and the QA Lead to investigate and resolve quality issues.
Participate in release validation and clearly communicate quality risks before deployment.
Use approved AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate testing activities, and streamline day-to-day QA work.
Demonstrate active engagement and ownership of product quality throughout the development and release lifecycle.
