About The Position

Ovative Group is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their product and engineering development team. The company specializes in enterprise-level media measurement and optimization. The Full Stack Engineer will be an integral part of a cross-functional team responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software and data solutions. They will work under the guidance of experienced team members and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in iterative development, familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, and a passion for problem-solving. They should be curious about using modern AI tools and can balance AI-assisted development with testing, documentation, and review. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential for working with users and translating their objectives into technical requirements. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant web application development experience
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Proficient in front-end languages: HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript
  • Proficient in one or more backend languages, API frameworks, and servers
  • Experience with common frontend JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience building and deploying containerized application code
  • Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand project requirements

  • Experience with iterative development and Agile methodologies, including familiarity with SAFe or similar scaled frameworks
  • Experience with, or a strong curiosity about, AI-assisted development tools and their practical applications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for automation with a focus on the operational stability of software applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to translate business goals and user requirements into detailed, actionable technical requirements.
  • Contribute to documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of robust, performant solutions that provide high customer impact at scale.
  • Provide technical assistance to teammates through collaboration and sharing expertise.
  • Follow established software and product engineering best practices, including code quality, documentation, deployment, and testing.
  • Explore new technologies and tools under guidance to enhance software development.
  • Troubleshoot software issues with support from senior team members.
  • Participate in technical knowledge sharing with other team members.
  • Stay current with emerging technology and software engineering innovations and continuously enhance skills.
  • Adhere to SDLC and DevOps best practices, maintaining high standards of quality and security across all phases of development.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, internal LLM tooling) to explore solution options, generate scaffolding code, and improve development velocity while maintaining code quality and security.
