About The Position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a contract-to-hire position in Plano, TX. This role requires a 100% hands-on coding background with at least 10 years of experience in full-stack development. The developer will work on mobile apps and web applications, focusing on a 50/50 split between Java/Spring/Microservices/AWS and Javascript/React. The position involves working with modern technologies and methodologies, including Agile, CI/CD, and AI integrations.

Responsibilities

Proven 10+ years of experience in full-stack development with a 100% hands-on coding background.
Strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, Next.js, and AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5/CSS3, component-driven UI development, and web performance optimization.
Strong experience building microservices and RESTful API design/development; familiar with secure API practices.
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control with Git.
Monitoring and Logging: Experience with tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Datadog.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Proficient in automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library) and containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on AI skills development and agentic flow enablement experience (LLM/AI integrations, orchestration, guardrails, evaluation).
Ability to lead code reviews, ensure coding standards, and build scalable frontend and backend solutions while remaining hands-on.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Works on mobile apps and web.
Should be good with ECS/EKS/Lambdas.
Must be true full stack as work can shift from heavy front end to heavy back end.
Must have some experience with Copilot or Claude etc – Any discussion on agents is a plus.
