About The Position

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with intermediate experience for a Contract to Hire role lasting at least 6 months. This is a right-to-hire position, meaning it is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support. If converted to a permanent role, the terms would depend on the candidate's performance and suitability. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java programming.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming.
Strong programming skills in Core Java, JUnit, Cucumber, Oracle, PostgresSQL, Maven, Shell Script, Jenkins, IntelliJ and similar tools.
Knowledge of messaging frameworks like JMS, IBM Active MQ, and Kafka.
Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and concepts of Test Driven Development.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques.
Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.
Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software.

Responsibilities

Developing, debugging, and maintaining code using Java, JDBC, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API, SQL.
Implementing unit testing, automated testing, and concepts of Test Driven Development.
System design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
Working proficiently in Full Stack Development and utilizing multiple design techniques.
Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software using the Full Stack toolset.
Applying Agile methodologies and working within common frameworks.
Implementing techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security.
Performing software engineering disciplines including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software.
