About The Position
Harmoney is hiring a Full-Stack Engineering Intern to join its Engineering team in Ghent. The intern will build a full-stack project using Angular (TypeScript) and Java, with a dedicated mentor, and deliver a working, tested feature that can be demonstrated to the team at the end of the internship. The work follows the company’s AI-first engineering approach, supported by a strong QA and test framework and DevOps.
Requirements
- Be studying IT at graduate or bachelor level and be seeking an internship.
- Have experience with TypeScript.
- Have written some Java or another object-oriented backend language.
- Understand how a REST API works.
- Be comfortable with Git and pull requests.
- Use AI tools with a critical eye.
- Be curious, ask questions early, and take ownership of planning and results.
- Care about the experience of new application users.
- Speak English fluently.
- Be able to work from Harmoney’s Ghent office.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Angular.
- Studying at a school in or around Ghent.
Responsibilities
- Build a full-stack project in Angular (TypeScript) and Java, from API to interface.
- Deliver core functionality first and add extra features when ahead of plan.
- Write tests and participate in code reviews.
- Use AI and agentic tools in daily development work.
- Present completed work to the team at the end of the internship.
