About The Position

Global InfoTek, Inc. (GITI) is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to prototype, build, and deploy modern web applications in support of a General Services Administration (GSA) contract. The role uses modern open-source software for server-side processing, efficient data storage, and integration with front-end user interfaces. The engineer will work in an agile, lean environment, delivering iterative changes and high-quality software across the stack.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience in software development, system integration, and full-stack engineering.
• Deep proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Extensive knowledge of backend coding platforms and open-source languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or PHP.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and with DevSecOps frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree; experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Vite.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience writing automated software tests across the stack, such as Cypress or Jest for the front end and API or unit tests for the back end.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Azure Developer Associate certification.
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, develop, and deploy scalable backend web applications and server-side processing logic using modern open-source software.
• Design, generate, and maintain efficient data storage solutions and complex SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
• Integrate backend server logic and APIs with front-end user interfaces and client-side applications.
• Deploy iterative code changes and enhancements in an agile and lean environment.
• Optimize client-side interfaces and backend servers for speed, scalability, and stability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to assess technical feasibility and translate requirements into functional software.
• Participate in peer code reviews, troubleshoot complex software defects across the stack, and take part in Agile ceremonies.
