About The Position

Global InfoTek, Inc. (GITI) is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to prototype, build, and deploy modern web applications in support of a General Services Administration (GSA) contract. The role uses modern open-source software to handle server-side processing, efficient data storage, and integration with front-end user interfaces. The engineer will work in an agile, lean environment, deploying iterative changes and delivering high-quality software end to end.

The position involves developing scalable backend applications and server-side logic, designing SQL and NoSQL data solutions, integrating APIs and user interfaces, and optimizing application performance, scalability, and stability. The engineer will collaborate with UI/UX, product, and QA colleagues; participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies; and troubleshoot defects across the stack. The role requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance. It is regular, full-time, and located in Reston, Virginia.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development, system integration, and full-stack engineering.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of backend coding platforms and open-source languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or PHP.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and with DevSecOps frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Vite.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience writing automated tests across the stack, such as Cypress or Jest for the front end and API or unit tests for the back end.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Azure Developer Associate certification.
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software defects across the full stack.
