About The Position

The Full Stack Engineer/Developer-Junior will support Defense & Intelligence Programs at Special Operations Command-Central (SOCCENT) located at MacDill AFB, FL. This roles has an anticipated start date of mid September 2026.

Requirements

Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.
5-8 years of related full stack development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript React and Python.
Proficient in Flask or FastAPI and familiar with relational/non-relational databases including Postgres and Elasticsearch.
Proficient with Git, SQLAlchemy, and basic CI/CD pipeline support.
US Citizens are eligible for this role due to US Government Contract Requirements.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and DevSecOps tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and maintaining data-driven backend systems supporting secure, high-performance search and analytics missions.
Support development of backend services for data ingestion and retrieval, and help build APIs and microservices using Flask or FastAPI.
Contribute to DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Docker containerization, and infrastructure-as-code while assisting with EDA on CAI/PAI datasets.
