About The Position

Workana is a remote work platform for talent in Latin America. Its client, EstateScout, is a Canadian PropTech company transforming how real estate agents manage purchase and sale transactions. Its platform brings together the real estate journey—from client intake and qualification through negotiation, closing, and post-sale—using workflow management, automation, real-time market data integrations, and intelligence tools. EstateScout is seeking a hands-on Mid/Senior Full Stack Developer to evolve an interactive prototype into a robust production platform. This fully remote, part-time opportunity is for a professional based in Latin America who will work with an international, English-speaking team. The developer will work directly with the founder to translate the prototype into a production-grade application, build scalable frontend interfaces and backend architectures, and connect business workflows to real-time property data feeds. The role includes end-to-end feature development, participation in technical and architectural decisions, and development of data-driven tools such as market opportunity scoring, property comparisons, and automated document workflows. The role is offered as a long-term independent contractor agreement. The posting states that there are no additional benefits such as paid time off or health insurance.

Requirements

Solid experience in full stack software development across modern frontend and backend architectures.
Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, as well as HTML, CSS, and mobile-first responsive design.
Solid backend development experience using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or equivalent technologies.
Demonstrated experience designing and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and consuming external third-party services.
Strong experience with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization in cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker containerization, and CI/CD workflows.
Advanced English proficiency.
Must be based in Latin America.

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating real estate data feeds such as MLS or CREA DDF, or familiarity with the Canadian real estate market.
Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs for content generation and communications, or implementing ML-based scoring models.
Exposure to automated document generation and e-signature APIs such as DocuSign.
Availability for time-zone alignment with Toronto (EST).

Responsibilities

Transform the existing interactive prototype into a responsive, mobile-optimized, production-ready frontend interface.
Design and implement backend architectures, scalable REST and/or GraphQL APIs, and reliable data services.
Ingest, normalize, and process property data feeds from external sources such as CREA DDF and MLS.
Implement core product logic, including market opportunity scoring, property comparison tools, and offer pricing calculators.
Integrate automated document generation and e-signature services to streamline contract workflows.
Model relational databases, optimize complex queries, and manage high-volume transactional data.
Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and basic observability tooling.
Collaborate directly with the founder on technical strategy, architecture, and end-to-end product delivery.
