About The Position

Peregrine Advisors is hiring a Full Stack Developer to develop and support cloud-native Python services on AWS, with back-end work in Python and front-end development in React.js. The role is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with a hybrid work arrangement; commuting cadence varies by assignment. The initial engagement requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. On the initial project, the developer will take user stories from refinement through production. Work may include building Python back-end features and React.js screens and components, integrating internal systems with commercial products through APIs, and automating workflows using AWS services such as S3 and Lambda. The developer will contribute to CI/CD automation, write secure and accessible code, provide production support, write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and resolve defects. The role also supports test-driven development and automated testing, and uses AI-assisted development tools with careful review and testing of their output. The developer is accountable for delivering tested, working code, supporting it in production, and creating automation and deployment pipelines that replace manual business workflows. The work and assignments may evolve as the company grows. This is a full-time W-2 position with an annual salary of $120,000 to $150,000.
