Intermediate Full Stack Developer
About The Position
Capco is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to support a major Financial Services client in delivering vulnerability remediation initiatives across critical applications and platforms. This role combines hands-on full-stack engineering with cross-functional coordination, helping delivery pods prepare, implement, and validate patching activities to address Mythos-related vulnerabilities and strengthen application security. You will work across development, testing, DevOps, troubleshooting, and production support activities while collaborating closely with engineering teams, security stakeholders, and business partners to ensure timely and effective remediation outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience (4+ years) developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Experience supporting vulnerability remediation, patch management, or application security initiatives within complex environments.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple delivery teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Payments environments.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management platforms, security scanning tools, or secure software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Support vulnerability remediation initiatives by coordinating and implementing patching activities across applications and environments.
- Provide hands-on full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to enhance, remediate, and support business-critical applications.
- Partner with delivery pods to prepare, coordinate, test, and deploy solutions addressing Mythos-related vulnerabilities.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, DevOps, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure remediation activities meet compliance, security, and operational requirements.
