About The Position

WestEd is hiring a Full-Stack Application Developer to enhance, support, and maintain its MSIN custom web-based application. The developer will work closely with the Senior Software Development Manager, fellow developers, external client technology teams, and the MSIN product owner. The role also helps modernize legacy .NET and SQL-based systems into scalable, cloud-ready architecture by upgrading applications, optimizing database performance, and adopting modern engineering practices across the stack. The position takes independent ownership of work within an agile development process, managing priorities and delivery through sprint planning and Jira-based workflows while contributing to a collaborative, cross-trained team. The role requires a commitment to quality, maintainable and well-tested software; effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; and proactive identification of risks, problems, and improvements. WestEd offers remote work, with hybrid arrangements available at its national offices. Employees must be located in the United States and be available to work eight hours each weekday, including core hours of Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pacific Time. The full salary range is $80,000–$125,000, with a typical hiring range of $80,000–$100,000. Offers consider education, experience, internal equity, and organizational needs. Visa sponsorship is not available. Employment offers are contingent on a clear criminal background check, fingerprint validation, and education verification.
