About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of Apollo Safety. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting monthly close activities. The position is full-time and on-site only.

Requirements

Five or more years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
Associate's degree in accounting and relevant business courses
A strong skill set with personal computers is mandatory, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.
3–7+ years bookkeeping experience
Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
Strong Excel skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must have exceptional communication skills and be able to work independently in a confidential environment.

Responsibilities

Process daily billing, receipts, credit applications, and resolve billing disputes
Enter accounts payable invoices
Process check runs
Enter credit card charges into the accounting system
Monitor accounts
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process payroll and related entries
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Support the month-end close
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
