About The Position

The Boutique COO works with business owners and founders who are looking to expand their network of expertise and grow their businesses. We match intentionally and filter both clients and professionals, making sure they are serious, reliable and collaborative. Our network members aren’t competing with dozens of others for the same clients. Our clients are looking for experts in their field who have a demonstrated history of owning the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, categorizing expenses, and generating monthly financial reports. They are meticulous record keepers with a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring books are up-to-date in alignment with client goals and priorities. Experience with managing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and coordinating with external CPAs during tax season to ensure all necessary documentation is organized and submitted is also desired. Clients seek individuals who are data-driven, with expertise in preparing financial statements and delivering insights to help clients understand their business performance. Confident communicators with strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt communication styles are essential. Self-starters who are comfortable with jumping into open-ended problems as a problem solver, can confidently assess the best courses of action, recommend clear paths to solution, and implement solutions with little to no oversight are highly valued. Skilled project managers who seamlessly adapt to changes, stay on top of deadlines, and are able to skillfully manage multiple priorities are sought after. Tech-savvy doers who are comfortable with a variety of web-based financial and accounting tools including Quickbooks Online are also a requirement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated history of owning the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients
