Fulfillment Services Project Manager

SpreetailTacoma, WA
$80,000 - $115,000Onsite

About The Position

Spreetail is seeking a Fulfillment Services Project Manager to launch and shape a brand-new role within our rapidly growing Platform Services organization. Based onsite at one of our six U.S. fulfillment centers, you'll serve as the on-the-ground champion for our brand partners—solving operational challenges in real time, improving inventory accuracy, and identifying process improvements that strengthen both warehouse performance and the customer experience. This is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up, partnering closely with Fulfillment Center Operations while influencing how Platform Services scales across our network. If you're energized by ownership, thrive in fast-paced warehouse environments, and want to make a measurable impact from day one, this role offers the opportunity to help define the future of fulfillment at Spreetail.

Requirements

  • Experience working on the floor in a fulfillment center, distribution center, or 3PL environment with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and workflows.
  • Comfortable using WMS scanners to perform inventory adjustments, location corrections, and other warehouse transactions, with Power Industrial Equipment certification (or the ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days).
  • Able to prioritize work from a daily queue, make informed decisions without direct supervision, and take ownership of issues through resolution.
  • Naturally identifies operational issues before they become larger problems and communicates findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly to both warehouse and non-warehouse audiences.
  • Experience with inventory control, ICQA or cycle count processes, inbound receiving and discrepancy management, brand-facing operational documentation, and AI-assisted tools (such as Claude) to improve documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Take immediate action to resolve inventory, storage, and order exceptions within your scope using your scanner and system access—without waiting for another team to prioritize the work.
  • Look beyond one-time fixes by documenting recurring trends, systemic process gaps, and repeat exceptions, then partner with your manager and the PS FC Operations Coordinator to drive long-term operational improvements.
  • Improve order accuracy, inventory integrity, and product quality by proactively preventing errors before they impact Platform Services brands or their customers.
  • Collaborate closely with FC Operations, ICQA, Receiving, and Platform Services teams, serving as a resource that helps the building operate more effectively while advocating for PS brand priorities.
  • Balance immediate problem solving with proactive inspections, investigations, and documentation that reduce repeat issues and elevate fulfillment performance over time.

  • Generous vacation policy
  • Paid time-off for wedding week
  • Paid parental leave
  • Support for parents of growing families
  • Special gifts, swag store credit, or donations to a nonprofit of your choice
