About The Position

The Fulfillment Lead is a registered pharmacy technician who plays a critical role in supporting Curexa Pharmacy services by developing standardized processes and ensuring the highest quality standards for compounding and non-sterile pharmaceutical products, as well as retail manufactured items. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Technical Services Pharmacist, Lab Production Manager, and Director of Compounding Operations to create and maintain all aspects of formulas and prescription items for hazardous and non-hazardous preparations in compliance with USP 795 and USP 800 standards.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (required)
  • Strong knowledge of compounding practices and regulatory standards
  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Licensed as a registered Technician in good standing in New Jersey
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. over short distances
  • Body movements consist of walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending; and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers. Standing for some of the shift
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Basic computer proficiency with the willingness to learn specific pharmacy-based computer software; Word and Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient use of compounding equipment and software systems
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, quality control methodologies, and risk management concepts
  • Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems, such as document control, change control, and deviation management
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions using relevant software systems for quality documentation, data analysis, and reporting
  • Project management skills, organization, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all pharmaceutical products produced and sold through Curexa’s platform meet the highest technical, clinical, and labeling standards.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations across the lab production environment.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, production managers, supervisors, and regulatory affairs to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain accurate Master Formulation Records, conduct bench testing for new products, manage change control requests, and troubleshoot formulation issues.
  • Uphold a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with Curexa policies, SOPs, and NJ State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
