Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Must be competent driving a box truck
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be comfortable using a tablet-based system
  • Must have Basic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator)
  • Must have the ability to comprehend basic engineering concepts and units of measure (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.)
  • Must be fluent in English for reading, writing and verbal communications
  • Must have Basic Computer Skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Must have good customer-service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Must have excellent visual attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Must drive company box truck and or other vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, based on company provided schedule
  • Must pick up boxes of metal parts, load and unload into truck or other vehicle.
  • Ensure parts are handled with care and cleanliness is maintained during all transfers
  • Maintain defense driving protocols
  • Keep the vehicle clean and fueled
  • Ensure the periodic schedule vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
  • Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
  • Assemble metal parts using hands and basic tools in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate counts of items assembled
  • Must be able to learn our in-house work order control system
  • Perform other assignments as assigned
