Requirements

  • High School Education/GED and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in warehouse or similar environment, prior experience within inventory, wave planning or customer service helpful.
  • Skills in planning, organizing, and juggling multiple priorities are required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work instructions. Attention to detail is helpful.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism (both verbal and in writing).
  • Ability to operate office machinery including use of computer systems (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows) and learn customer software systems.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.

Nice To Haves

  • prior experience within inventory, wave planning or customer service helpful.
  • Attention to detail is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Process (wave, print / organize paperwork and labels) customer orders.
  • Run stock reports to check for product availability.
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checking all orders for special requests, and post inventory records.
  • Research aging orders, provide update to Operations Team.
  • Complete productivity tracker (where applicable).
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure the service standards are being met.
  • Assure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices.
  • Maintain damage records and back-order logs.
  • Handle returned merchandise in an efficient manner and assure proper credit is given to customers.
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.
  • Prepare reports concerning customer service activities.
  • Maintain current and accurate procedure book, which details the processing requirements for each account.
  • Answer phone calls and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties.
  • Greet customers and visitors to the office.
  • Coordinate special and or last-minute shipping requests.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy. Perform inventory audits, record results and measure trends.
  • Complete billing per required company process.
  • Track and Trace orders as required.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time.
