Full Time - Fulfillment Associate - Day
About The Position
The Fulfillment Associate picks, stages, inspects, and fulfills customer orders accurately and on time while keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe. The role provides excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with appropriate associates when needed. The associate operates powered equipment and maintains the required certifications, follows safety requirements, supports inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance, and partners with leadership to resolve short picks. Additional tasks include audits, order follow-ups, locker management, and reporting safety or theft concerns. The role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and teamwork. Other duties may be assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Required certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck; certifications must be obtained if not already held.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of retail experience.
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department, such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
- At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials into or out of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.

- Operate powered equipment and maintain certification for a counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck while following safety requirements.
- Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance.
- Partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
- Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management.
- Promptly report safety or theft concerns.
- Perform daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
