We are looking for an experienced Fuels System Engineer – Level 4 in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports for fuel systems. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering discipline, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience as an engineer analyzing fuel systems equipment and performing large transport category aircraft certification processes
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience with recording certification flight test procedures
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience conducting systems safety assessments per the Federal Aviation Administration regulation 14 CFR § 25.1309
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience developing testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to calculate system performance
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience designing sub-systems and components to meet performance criteria

Responsibilities

  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports for fuel systems.
  • Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures for mechanical systems to meet requirements.
  • Investigate fuel system failures and recommend remedial actions to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks to support certification and aircraft delivery schedules.
  • Confer with engineers, suppliers, and external partners to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Provide technical guidance to teams on fuel system components and on integrating fuel systems with other aircraft systems.
