About The Position

This program offers students the opportunity to gain experience in Fuels Affiliate Management. Interns will prepare monthly executive reports on the Americas Downstream sector, covering refining, chemicals, base oils, and fuels marketing. They will also conduct research on Downstream topics, develop automated tools for performance analysis, and contribute to an Affiliate Governance Handbook.

Requirements

  • Business Degree (focus in Finance, Management, Economics, Analytics, Operations Management, Artificial Intelligence)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot or other AI-driven automation tools
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights and findings

Nice To Haves

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree and have completed at least your sophomore year.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly executive reports on the Americas Downstream sector, including refining, chemicals, base oils, and fuels marketing.
  • Summarize key industry developments, market intelligence, consultant insights, and competitor activities in reports.
  • Conduct research and develop industry overview papers on Downstream topics such as base oils, wholesale fuels markets, and other emerging business areas.
  • Design and implement automated tools and dashboards to support quarterly performance analysis and reporting for Downstream Affiliates.
  • Develop and maintain an Affiliate Governance Handbook that documents board structures, committee responsibilities, and management authorities.
