About The Position
Jackson Energy Logistics is hiring experienced Class A CDL Fuel Transport Drivers to deliver fuel to retail store partners. This local-route position offers home-daily work, modern and well-maintained equipment, advancement opportunities, and a compensation package that includes annual pay averaging $100,000–$135,000, longevity and quarterly safety/performance bonuses, profit sharing, and guaranteed earnings during seasonal slowdowns. Drivers safely operate a tractor-tanker combination, inspect equipment, and load, transport, and unload petroleum products in compliance with DOT regulations. They provide customer service at each stop, follow safety and compliance standards, and complete required paperwork. The position involves heavy physical work and exposure to odors, high humidity, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles or objects. Requirements
- Be at least 23 years old.
- Have at least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience; tanker experience is preferred.
- Hold a current Class A CDL from the state in which applying, with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
- CDL must not be restricted to automatic transmissions.
- Have a TWIC card in applicable areas.
- Have no tickets or accidents in the past 12 months and no more than 1.5 points in the past 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical, drug test, background check, and Jackson driving test.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Meet the physical demands of the role: lift or move up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.
