About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a Fuel Systems Design Release Engineer (Auburn Hills, MI). We are seeking a Fuel Systems Design Release Engineer, responsible for the design, development, advance product & quality planning (APQP), and production release of a system/component within Fuels Systems: Fuel/Urea tanks and fuel/urea delivery modules.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Fuel Tanks, Fuel Delivery Modules, Fuel Pumps
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, development, advance product & quality planning (APQP), and production release of a system/component within Fuels Systems: Fuel/Urea tanks and fuel/urea delivery modules.
- Quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction, and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.
- Interacts with suppliers and works closely with internal and external groups such as vehicle program team, testing & prototype labs, CAE engineers, supplier operations, and manufacturing plants.
- Support and drive quality improvement initiatives related to fuel system components and assemblies.
