About The Position

The Fuel Delivery Driver picks up and delivers fuel products—including liquid fuel, oil, grease, and other energy products offered by the Cooperative—to customers. The role is based in Medina, Ohio, is full-time and non-exempt, and reports to the Logistics Manager. During peak seasons or periods of increased demand, the driver may be assigned temporary duties in other departments to help maintain service levels and smooth operations. Pay is based on experience. Employees may also be asked to perform other job-related duties as directed. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hire. Requirements

Class B CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsements.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience as a truck driver.
Excellent driving record.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to set priorities and manage time.
Strong attention to detail.
Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Load the truck with fuel products based on daily routing needs.
Deliver fuel products to designated customer sites.
Conduct vehicle safety inspections as required by DOT guidelines.
Assist with maintaining fuel sites, monitoring inventory, and performing basic housekeeping.
Generate daily delivery tickets and submit them for billing.
Maintain customer-assigned equipment, including tanks and meters.
Respond to fuel emergencies as needed.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on the vehicle.
Communicate with customers on a daily basis.
Perform temporary duties in other departments during peak seasons or periods of increased demand.
