About The Position

The Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering liquid products to customers each day, maintaining clean company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers. Drivers operate commercial motor vehicles in every weather condition and at any time, day or night, and safely load and unload liquid fuel products, including pulling delivery hose up to 150 feet. The role also involves using web-based platforms to manage workflow and record data; maintaining required licensure and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements; conducting system and leak checks and restarting system appliances; and installing and maintaining tank monitors. The anticipated pay range is $60,000 to $80,000.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-B license.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
• Tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Maine delivery technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
• Safely load and unload liquid fuel products, including pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
• Use web-based platforms on tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktop computers to manage workflow and record data.
• Maintain required licensure and comply with Eastern’s policies and procedures, state requirements, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and focused and complete work safely.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and refreshers; report unsafe actions to a supervisor; and model safety-conscious practices.
• Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with SOPs, and restart system appliances.
• Install and maintain tank monitors periodically and as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles.
• Assist with delivery-related projects and provide a high level of service to customers and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
