Fuel Delivery Driver
About The Position
The Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering liquid products to customers daily. The role also includes keeping company delivery vehicles clean, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers. The anticipated pay range is $60,000 to $80,000. The driver operates a commercial motor vehicle in all weather conditions and at any time of day or night; safely loads and unloads liquid fuel, including pulling delivery hose; and uses web-based platforms on a tablet, smartphone, laptop, or desktop to manage workflow and record data. The position requires compliance with company policies, licensing requirements, state and DOT rules, SOPs, and applicable regulations. Drivers perform system and leak checks, restart system appliances, and install and maintain tank monitors.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-B license.
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
- Tanker endorsement is preferred.
- Maine delivery technician experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
- Safely load and unload liquid fuel products, including pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
- Use web-based platforms on a tablet, smartphone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
- Maintain required licensure and comply with company policies and procedures, state and Department of Transportation requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Remain alert and focused and complete work safely.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and refreshers; alert a supervisor to unsafe actions; and model safety-conscious practices.
- Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with company SOPs, and restart system appliances.
- Install and maintain tank monitors periodically and as needed.
- Keep company delivery vehicles clean.
- Assist with delivery-related projects.
- Provide a high level of service to customers and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
