About The Position
The Fuel Cashier is a member of the store team, primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests at TravelCenters of America. The role supports a one-stop shopping experience at travel centers and helps travelers return to the road better than they came. Team members work in a customer-focused environment, process large diesel fuel transactions, and handle a variety of customer needs at the register.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities
- Serve each customer courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Process large diesel fuel transactions on a point-of-sale register, handling cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Multitask customer transactions involving merchandise, truck scales, shower reservations, communications, and personal check-cashing.
- Prioritize work according to customer and management needs.
- Know and follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
- Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
