About The Position

As an FSQA Technician, you will help ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality at the Robards Plant. The role involves inspecting products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking appropriate corrective action when issues arise. This position is on the second shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in the food manufacturing industry or related quality assurance experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
Good problem-identification and problem-solving skills.
Math and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
Ability to function well under stress.
Flexibility to work where and when needed.
Willingness and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in temperatures typically ranging from 30 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and in wet environments.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling, frequently reach high and low levels, and climb step ladders or stairs.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must obtain Lock Out Tag Out certification.
Internal candidates: No written warnings within the previous six months; no written warning with suspensions within the previous twelve months; and fewer than five attendance points.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
