About The Position

Stampede Culinary Partners is seeking an FSQA Technical Services Labeling Specialist to manage product labeling and USDA label approvals while supporting product specifications, nutritional information, and regulatory compliance. The specialist works closely with R&D, QA, and Sales to ensure product information is accurate and meets customer requirements. The role supports labeling requirements for cooked and raw production facilities and helps maintain accurate labeling documentation and support third-party audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Meat Science, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in quality assurance, food safety, and product development within food processing.
• Understanding of USDA label approval requirements and experience with the FSIS Labeling and Program Delivery System (LPDS).
• Knowledge of GS1-128 barcoding and labeling software.
• HACCP certification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with labeling development and approval software, such as Label Matrix and EZForm.

Responsibilities

• Manage USDA label approvals, including new and revised labels using EZForm.
• Develop Nutrition Facts panels and ensure compliance with labeling regulations.
• Create and maintain product specifications for internal production and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Sales on product information, ingredients, nutrition, and allergens.
• Maintain accurate labeling documentation and support third-party audits.
• Use EZForm and TraceGains to support labeling and nutritional information.
• Support labeling requirements for cooked and raw production facilities.
