About The Position

This position monitors food quality attributes during production runs and verifies quality program records. The role involves implementing Process Quality Control programs by monitoring and/or verifying process control checks, such as scale verification and slice count. It also includes monitoring the documentation of the label verification program and the product formulation program. The technician will perform GMP audits in production areas, correct issues, and assist in retraining team members. As a trained HACCP Authority, where applicable, the role involves verifying and preship HACCP records and auditing the documentation of process and HACCP records. Additionally, the position entails performing a section of routine internal process and facility audits, including detailed documentation of findings and follow-up verification of corrective actions. The technician will also work with USDA and 3rd party auditors as needed and help maintain, coordinate, and provide continuous improvement to other assigned programs.

Requirements

  • Must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must have 1 year consistent work history in FSQA.

Responsibilities
