At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Afternoon Froster / Assistant Baker is at the heart of it all. Dedicated to perfecting the craft, you are able to support the Bakery because you see beauty in raw ingredients and strive for consistency when you make our guests’ favorite recipes. You’ll make and frost the cakes that make people’s days, so you’ll get to enjoy yours as well.

Responsibilities

  • Make frosting and frost all cakes according to NBC's standards and time guidelines including cakes available for walk-in guests, pre-ordered cakes, and marketing cakes.
  • Keep the frosting station clean, sanitized and running efficiently.
  • Assist the lead baker to help bake all sizes and flavors of cakes offered by NBC according to NBC's standards and time guidelines.
  • Keep the baking station clean, sanitized and running efficiently, as well as tracking inventory.
  • Wash dishes from the baking and frosting department as well as cleaning the bakery. Cleaning will include floors, walls, bathrooms, shelves etc.
  • Fold boxes, track inventory and make labels and organize.
  • Abide by all NBC policies and procedures.
  • Uphold NBC's image and brand.
  • Frost cakes according to all NbC standards in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Make frosting and track inventory of ingredients needed.
  • Assist other departments when necessary.
  • Put baked cakes away and rotate cakes in cooler according to NBC standards.
  • Bake cakes in all sizes and flavors by diligently following recipes.
  • Remove cakes from pans and package properly.
  • Fold boxes and label containers.
  • Track inventory of baked goods.
  • Provide management with a daily production sheet.
  • Keep area clean and sanitized including tables, equipment and tools.
  • Wash all dishes used during work day.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the bakery.
  • Empty trash and take to dumpster.
