About The Position

Allegion is hiring a Frontline Leader for its manufacturing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the leader serves as a key resource for team members, regularly providing process knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. The role focuses on team engagement and development in a fast-paced, on-site production environment.

The Frontline Leader provides leadership and guidance during manufacturing and related activities, supports safe work practices, ensures quality standards are met, and coordinates with interrelated departments to plan and execute production goals. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in the process area in which the group leader position exists, with working knowledge of area processes and job content.
• Prior experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during manufacturing, processing, operating, packing, or unloading activities.
• Instruct team members in the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures.
• Ensure production meets quality assurance standards established by programs such as ISO and Six Sigma.
• Communicate regularly with interrelated departments, including distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
• Encourage teamwork, a positive attitude, and support among teammates.
• Engage with team members and provide process knowledge, motivation, support, and advice.
