About The Position

Lexus of Orlando, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an experienced Front Parts Counter Representative to join their team. This role is essential for delivering extraordinary customer experiences by providing direct assistance to retail and wholesale customers, as well as service department technicians, to sell necessary parts and accessories in a timely fashion.   • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership, and organization.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of one year's experience working in the service drive or at an auto parts retailer or wholesaler.
  • ASE Certification.
  • i-Car Certification.
  • Specific manufacturer's certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct assistance with retail and wholesale customers.
  • Provide direct assistance to service department technicians to sell the needed parts and accessories in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure customers have a world class buying experience at every step along the journey.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of expertise as an integral member of the parts department focusing on customer satisfaction while ensuring profitability.
  • Connect with customers about their parts questions in a professional manner that reflects understanding, clarity, accuracy, and courtesy.
  • Strive to grow the dealership and your career by setting monthly and annual goals for the Parts Department with the Parts Manager and reporting on your progress.
