About The Position

QualDerm Partners, the largest multi-state female-founded and owned dermatology network in the U.S., is seeking a Regular Part-Time Front Office Receptionist for our Greensboro, NC location. With over 150 locations in 17 states, QualDerm is dedicated to educating, protecting, and caring for skin health. We provide comprehensive dermatologic care to help patients achieve healthier, more confident skin. As a Regular Part-Time Front Office Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, and facilitating patient check-in and registration using medical systems. You will verify insurance eligibility, manage patient information, and support the smooth operation of the practice by adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors in person or by telephone, responding to inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Record patient arrivals and maintain accurate records in the Practice Management System (EMR).
  • Create new patient accounts and update existing patient information as necessary.
  • Prep patient paperwork prior to appointments and manage “No Show” appointment follow-ups.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to optimize provider time and treatment room utilization.
  • Verify insurance coverage, prior authorizations, and communicate with the Billing Department when necessary.
  • Collect patient co-pays and balances during check-in/out processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area in compliance with operational policies.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and demonstrate superior customer service skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Practice Manager or Area Practice Manager.
