About The Position

Front Office Acquisition Support Analyst to provide critical programmatic, technical, and administrative expertise in support of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. This role ensures the successful execution of acquisition strategies by overseeing contract development, cost estimation, and compliance with federal acquisition policies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes and a proven ability to support strategic initiatives through coordination and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Program Management, Acquisition Management, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in acquisition support or related DoD/federal roles.
  • Strong background in contract management, cost analysis, and acquisition documentation.
  • Active TS/SCI w/SAP eligibility required.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
  • Proficient in developing cost estimates, SOWs, and acquisition plans.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition Process Oversight: Monitor and assess acquisition lifecycle activities to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Track acquisition action plans, milestones, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert recommendations to enhance contract performance and streamline procurement processes.
  • Contract Development and Management: Support the creation and review of acquisition documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, budgets, and acquisition plans.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, cost and pricing analysis, and contract modifications.
  • Evaluate contract execution and provide performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Technical and Administrative Support: Ensure acquisition documents align with DoD policies and program objectives.
  • Assist with compliance audits, site visits, and protest or appeal case documentation.
  • Develop and update acquisition strategies that align with long-term program goals.
  • Strategic Planning and Communication: Prepare briefings, status updates, and reports for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine acquisition strategies and implement best practices.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.
