About The Position

Mobius is seeking an Acquisition Intelligence Program Support Analyst to support a program element, referred to as a portfolio, to ensure identification, understanding and satisfaction of the intelligence requirements of Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Senior Leadership, Program Elements, and other Agency organizations. Acquisition Intelligence Analysts are required to have a thorough understanding of each assigned program, to understand the critical intelligence needs of each portfolio, and to have the ability to research and/or coordinate these requirements with the Intelligence Community to get rapid and up-to-date intelligence responses, as required. Acquisition Intelligence Analysts must also be familiar with the DoD Acquisition Process to best support the division’s acquisition intelligence effort. Acquisition Intelligence Analysts build trusted relationships vertically and horizontally across the Agency, working closely with each other to ensure that intelligence affecting other portfolios is shared, and they collaborate with military commands to assist in the planning for, and employment of, MDA assets. Supported MDA programs include, but are not limited to, Ground-Based Weapon Systems, Sea-Based Weapon Systems, Targets and Countermeasures, Advanced Technology, and Chief Architect, as well as MDA leadership. This position is located at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in intelligence analysis.
  • Ability to provide daily supervision and direction to support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute analytical tasks using established analytic techniques and processes.
  • Ability to develop and/or apply analytic tools, techniques, and processes in support of technical and administrative activities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams in analyzing and resolving complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated all-source intelligence experience, including work with Intelligence Community agencies, the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, or Service intelligence components.
  • Experience providing intelligence support to acquisition or requirements communities is highly desired.
  • Preferred experience includes knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency, OPIR, space sensors, C2BMC, MDA flight testing, and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems.
  • Knowledge of Space Systems, C4ISR concepts and applications, including their tactical contribution to warfighting across operating environments.
  • Working knowledge of acquisition and requirements processes.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of authoritative intelligence assessments focused on adversary capabilities and the effects of those capabilities on U.S. and DoD weapon systems
  • Conduct all-source intelligence research, analyze technical and intelligence reporting, and assess adversary capability, intent, and threat impacts across system-of-systems environments
  • Apply critical thinking and produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior U.S. government intelligence and operations officials
  • Bring all-source intelligence experience, including work with Intelligence Community organizations such as NGA, NASIC, DIA, DEFSMAC, ONI, NGIC, or other Defense Intelligence Enterprise components
  • Experience providing intelligence support to acquisition or requirements communities is preferred
  • Additional preferred experience includes OPIR, space sensors and associated threats, C2BMC, HBTSS, Ballistic Missile Defense exercises, MDA testing, and developing concepts, approaches, and strategies in support of DoD agencies
