About The Position

This role is responsible for various front-of-house duties to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience. Key tasks include completing training, maintaining punctuality and proper uniform, greeting guests, following service steps, processing payments, verifying identification for alcohol consumption, preparing tables, assisting hosts with phone calls and guest seating, running food, completing side work, and cashing out with management.

Responsibilities

  • Complete training program and pass tests
  • Come to work on time and prepared for your shift in proper uniform
  • Greet Guest and Follow Steps of Service
  • Present Check and Collect payment
  • Check identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
  • Fold napkins, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
  • Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
  • Assist with food running
  • Complete running side work and end of shift side work
  • Cash out with manager providing all necessary documents (credit card slips, house charges)
  • Set or clear tables in dining areas
  • Notify kitchen personnel of food orders, shortages, or special orders
  • Clean rooms or work areas
