About The Position

This role involves managing the front of house operations, including training, guest interaction, payment processing, and table preparation. The position requires adherence to service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Responsibilities extend to assisting with food running, completing side work, and accurately cashing out with management.

Responsibilities

  • Complete training program and pass tests.
  • Come to work on time and prepared for your shift in proper uniform.
  • Greet Guest and Follow Steps of Service (as outlined in training manual).
  • Present Check and Collect payment.
  • Check identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • Fold napkins, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
  • Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
  • Assist with food running.
  • Complete running side work and end of shift side work.
  • Cash out with manager providing all necessary documents (credit card slips, house charges).
  • Set or clear tables in dining areas.
  • Notify kitchen personnel of food orders, shortages, or special orders.
  • Clean rooms or work areas.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Serve food or beverages.
  • Collect payment.
  • Answer customer or public inquiries.
  • Prepare beverages.
  • Assist patrons to make wine selection.
