A La Carte Dining & Banquet Servers
About The Position
The Country Club of Buffalo is currently hiring front-of-house service staff to join our team. We are seeking year-round service staff with AM and PM availability. We are primarily looking to fill two types of service roles within our dining operation: A La Carte Dining Server and Banquet Server. Lunch/dinner served daily, yearly bonus, employee golf, amongst many other employee incentives. If you enjoy working as a team, a positive and upbeat work atmosphere and keeping busy, this is the place for you! A La Carte Dining Server: A la carte servers provide traditional table service to our members for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a fine dining club environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys member interaction, polished service standards, and a structured dining environment. Banquet Server: Banquet servers support the club’s private events, weddings, and golf outings, particularly during our busy summer season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced teamwork and event-based service.

Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and professional table service to members
- Understanding and executing proper steps of service
- Using professional communication and service verbiage with members and staff
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout service
- Learning and memorizing monthly menu changes
- Polishing silverware and glassware
- Maintaining a clean, organized service area and completing side work
- Providing efficient service for high-volume events
- Assisting with banquet and event setup and breakdown
- Carrying trays and executing plated or buffet service
- Moving and setting tables, chairs, and event furniture
- Adapting to changing workloads and event timelines
- Working closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth event execution
