About The Position
Hill's Resort is seeking energetic and guest-focused individuals to join their Front of House team as Servers and Daytime Bartenders. The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking pride in delivering personalized and memorable dining experiences. Servers should be attentive and adaptable, enjoying guest interaction while maintaining efficiency. Daytime Bartenders should be skilled, outgoing, and passionate about creating personalized experiences, balancing speed, accuracy, and hospitality. Both roles require individuals who are organized, engaging, and possess strong communication skills. Candidates must be 19 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred
- Previous bartending experience
Responsibilities
- Welcome diners and build rapport to create a welcoming, personalized experience
- Guide guests through the menu, make thoughtful recommendations, and accommodate preferences or dietary needs
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
- Monitor tables proactively, anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tables and service areas
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
- Carry trays and deliver ordered items to correct tables/customers
- Complete side work such as: polishing silverware, polishing glassware, folding linen, regular cleaning of beverage machines, preparing side sauces, cleaning of server areas etc.
- Take initiative to complete necessary tasks without needing to be directed
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and consistency
- Communicating with the kitchen staff promptly and clearly for correct delivery of orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
- Complete side work such as: polishing glassware, preparing drink garnishes, making drink mixes, restocking fridges, regular cleaning of beverage machines, restocking paper items, cleaning of bar areas etc.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support smooth service
- Verify the identification and age of customers
- Be comfortable monitoring and cutting off patrons
- Assist in the creation of cocktail specials
