About The Position

San Pedro Playhouse is seeking dedicated, experienced Front of House team members for the holiday season. Front of House staff help ensure patrons’ comfort, safety, and satisfaction while upholding the theater’s values of artistry, integrity, bravery, joy, and kindness. This position is based in San Antonio and requires in-person attendance, including onsite evening and weekend duties. The position is seasonal and pays $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

Positive, can-do attitude.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to use established communication platforms and systems.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by performance schedules.
TABC Certification must be completed before the first shift.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a similar role at a theater or entertainment venue.
Experience in food service, bartending, or retail.

Responsibilities

Greet patrons and provide exemplary customer service, going the extra mile when needed.
Assist with ticketing, seating, and accessibility accommodations.
Respond promptly and courteously to patron inquiries, concerns, and emergencies.
Keep all on-location conversations kind, courteous, and professional.
Clean and maintain front-of-house spaces, including seating areas, lobbies, and bathrooms, through tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping surfaces.
Manage audience entry and exit to minimize disruptions during performances.
Help operate concessions, bar sales, and merchandise sales.
Learn and enforce theater policies, including fire safety regulations and emergency procedures.
De-escalate conflicts and support other staff as needed.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and patron feedback.
Foster a positive, professional, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Lead by example with positivity and kindness.
Communicate with the team and supervisor and speak up when needs arise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
