About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you create a smooth, positive checkout experience by completing purchases accurately and interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient manner. The role includes scanning items, bagging groceries, answering questions, and helping ensure each customer’s visit ends on a strong note.

You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently. Tasks may include handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing priorities and customer flow.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older, or 18 years of age or older depending on local/state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, apply accurate pricing and produce codes, and complete orders.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain an organized, clean checkout area.
• Handle cash, count change, and balance registers.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
