About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by accurately completing purchases and providing friendly, efficient customer assistance. Tasks include scanning and bagging items, answering questions, and handling cash, card, and digital payments. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by rotating among checkout duties, cart collection, supply restocking, and checkout-area upkeep. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items and complete transactions, including accurate pricing and produce codes.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain an organized, clean checkout area.
• Handle cash, count change, and balance registers.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, or customer-service questions.
