  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with direction and supervision of Front-End operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer traffic flow, checkout lane coverage, and maintain cleanliness and appearance of the Front-End area.
  • Complete reconciliation processes, including balancing registers, safe transactions, and preparing daily deposit slips.
  • Handle administrative duties such as payroll corrections, timecard audits, and maintaining employee records.
  • Manage cash flow requirements, approve checks/refunds, and monitor fund handling procedures.
  • Serve as liaison for payroll and coordinate leave paperwork, reinstatements, and terminations.
  • Provide guidance and training to cashiers, courtesy clerks, and other Front-End staff.
  • Implement emergency procedures for equipment malfunctions and ensure operational readiness.
  • Perform periodic performance appraisals and recommend personnel actions.
  • Act as an overflow cashier and attend department meetings in the absence of the Front-End Manager.
