About The Position
Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. This role involves Cashiering, Bagging, Cleaning, Merchandising, Stocking, Rotating Product, and Facing. Essential Job Functions include maintaining a World Famous Friendly customer service approach, working as part of a team, accurately handling cash transactions, bagging groceries appropriately, assisting customers with carrying groceries, rotating perishable merchandise, pulling out-of-date product, greeting customers, maintaining a neat appearance according to company dress code, stocking shelves, assisting with store displays, observing department policies and procedures, keeping the work area and check stand clean, and learning, following, and modeling all safety operating procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Provide a World-Famous Friendly attitude to customers & team members.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to count chance & balance cash drawer.
- Ability to learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
- Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide World Famous Friendly customer service with customers and teammates.
- Work as part of a “team” atmosphere.
- Cashier responsibilities, smile, greet, count back change accurately.
- Bag groceries accordingly (like items together).
- Carry out groceries to customers vehicles.
- Keep perishable merchandise rotated & pull out of date product as needed.
- Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
- Maintain a neat appearance according to the company’s dress code policy.
- Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided.
- Assist in building store displays.
- Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
- Keep work area, check stand, front end clean.
- Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
- Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
