About The Position

HealthCARE Express is looking for a Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) to join our team. Our D.O.F.I. team is often the first and last interaction a patient has with us, so this role is an important part of both the patient experience and the day-to-day flow of the clinic. We're looking for someone who can make patients feel welcome while staying organized and keeping things moving in a busy urgent care environment. If you're comfortable juggling multiple priorities, enjoy working with people, and like being part of a team where no two days are exactly the same, we'd love to hear from you.

Nice To Haves

Previous medical office or healthcare experience
A basic understanding of HIPAA

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients
Verify demographic and insurance information
Answer incoming calls
Collect payments
Provide receipts
Scan documents into patient charts
Answer patient questions
Maintain accurate information in our system
Protect patient confidentiality
Work closely with the clinical team to keep patient flow moving throughout the day
