Front Desk Team Member
About The Position
A Front Desk Team Member at Valor Christian serves as the first point of contact and ambassador for the school, providing a welcoming, professional, and courteous experience for all visitors and callers while maintaining a strong sense of confidentiality, patience, and discretion. In addition to delivering high-level customer service, this role functions as a key “gatekeeper” for the facility by following and executing all school-wide safety and security procedures. The position supports daily school operations by assisting students, staff, families, and guests, maintaining proficiency in front desk systems, managing accurate student attendance records, and overseeing office and workroom supplies. Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Able to quickly and proficiently master new software applications and other technology
- Proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior reception experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, high-level customer service at the reception desk while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Perform a full range of reception duties, including greeting and assisting students, staff, parents, and visitors
- Support school safety and security by becoming knowledgeable in and accurately executing all school-wide procedures
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in all software systems used at the front desk to support daily operations
- Maintain accurate student attendance records in support of the Deans and Academics teams
- Manage workroom and office supplies, ensuring organization, availability, and compliance with budget guidelines
- Uphold and embody Valor’s culture as set forth in the Valor Culture Document
- Model servant leadership, grace and love in all relationships and interactions
- Develop relationships with colleagues with goals of teamwork, relational unity and spiritual growth
- Provide team support regarding all matters, processes and initiatives
- Demonstrate loyalty to teammates in action and word
- Assist Team members to facilitate school-wide wins
- Assume collaborative responsibility for Operating Plan Goals and Fiscal stewardship
- Be a ‘culture- keeper’
- Participate in Valor Team meetings, Chapel and weekly meetings with Team/Supervisor
- Demonstrate teachability and receptivity to feedback
- Pursue professional, personal, and spiritual growth and development
- Participate in the broader ministry of Valor by the contributing of time, talent and treasure beyond assigned role responsibilities
