About The Position

This position is responsible for the short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department.

  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests
  • High School diploma or relevant job experience
  • Stable work history required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front desk operations to ensure excellent guest service and compliance with hotel standards
  • Train, schedule, and support front desk staff; monitor performance and assist with onboarding
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Review room inventory, guest accounts, and reports for accuracy
  • Maintain lobby, front desk, and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Manage supplies, key control, and ensure secure cash-handling procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager, Director of Sales and assist with projects as assigned
