About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Marriott Tampa Westshore is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk team to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth check-in/check-out processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest concerns efficiently while maintaining Marriott’s high standards of hospitality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role within the hospitality industry.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front desk associates to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Manage daily front desk operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
  • Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, reservations, and billing information.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in scheduling and staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Perform administrative duties such as reporting and inventory management as needed.
