The goal of this team member is to provide superior customer service to both patients and other staff members. This role involves ensuring that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing the check-in/check-out process, entering demographics, scanning patient information into EMR, verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, collecting patient payments, answering inquiries, forwarding messages to clinical staff, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, calling patients for follow-up, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the office, particularly the lobby and registration area. Other duties as required.
